4.9. Secondary Entrance Sign Type A2.
4.9.1. Placement. Many bases have one or more secondary entrances in addition to the main
gate. Place sign Type A2 at secondary entrances that receive high volumes of visitor traffic.
4.9.2. Information. The sign face is slightly smaller than the main entrance sign (see Figure
4.6.) and shall contain only the following information:
The title "U.S. AIR FORCE" in upper case letters.
The installation name in upper and lower case letters.
The Air Force Symbol.
